Incident 2 (One ray of sunlight), 2020

Performance Installation
Barn, sunlight, mirrors, various objects with reflective surface

A windowless barn stands with the entrance facing south, so that the sun passes by the barn front every day. Inside, furniture and objects are distributed throughout the room.

Once a day, the seemingly randomly spread objects become actors in a performance: at 2 pm, a ray of sunlight falls on a tilted mirror table standing at the entrance. It leads the light to a setting of a bathroom cabinet, a pan, a spatula, a camping mat and a angle iron. These are positioned in such a way that the light is directed along the floor from one object to another, creating two triangles.

After a while the figure fades and the light moves on towards the next arrangement of objects. During 20 minutes, it passes through five settings and allows light drawings to become visible.
