Fountain for Zina, 2018

This work was made for the Tbilisi Architecture Biennial as part of the group show Block 76, which took place in inhabited flats of a social housing building.

The bath rooms of the apartments are situated in the center of the building and have no windows or natural light. In flat number two, metal pipes extend the water tabs, redirect the water and lead it to the the bath tub where they come together as a water fountain.

The fountain is dedicated to Zina. She was the first owner of the flat after the privatisation of the former Sovjet social housing apartments and the grandmother of the currant resident.
