The series of drawings “Learn French in Mexico” is the result of an investigation into intersections of different languages. The drawings are based on a collection of interlingual homonyms – words that are written the same way but have different meanings in several languages. Each drawing shows the encounter of two different meanings of a word, for example: GIFT (German/English), COIN (English/French), RED (English/Spanish).
