The color areas "1:1, 2018" arose from the desire to bring distant places - such as the Indian Ocean, the Mongolian Plateau, the Amazon Rainforest and the Fiji Islands - to life size.

Points of these areas in the International World Atlas were enlarged step by step in 400% increments using photocopying, up to a scale of 1:1.
