SEM SOM COM SOM, 2016
Video installation (3 channel video) 4‘36‘‘, with sound
Material: 3 projectors, tables, bed, mattresses, speakers
The projection shows acoustic and visual rhythms produced by architecture and its infrastructure: perfectly synchronized movements as well as occurrences resulting from a misconstruction or technical malfunction.
The objects and buildings thus become protagonists of an audio-visual composition. The composition starts with the soft crinkle of an electrical wire and the irregular blinking of a luminous advertisment, slowly gains in volume and speed and culminates the duet of a squealing escalator and a Samba-like rattling of three ventilators.
