Wood, cable, switch, socket, electricity, cassette player, audio track from film sequences (2:40 min, loop)

A light switch and a socket protrude far into the exhibition space. The light switch next to the door is led horizontally into the center of the room and the socket located at the light line is extended vertically to the floor, where a cassette device is plugged in. Thus the path of the current - which is normally hidden in the wall - is made visible.

When the switch is pressed, the light in the exhibition space changes: the fluorescent tubes go off and the two fluorescent tubes flanking the extension of the socket go on.
At the same time, the cassette player starts and the audio work Follow the Sounds of the Stream is played. The audio track is composed of 36 sound sequences from films in which a path is described. Together they form a description of the way, which is repeated continuously.
